Why are there fees for early check-in and late check-out?

Cats Cradle operates just like a traditional hotel. Standard check-in is 4:00–7:00 PM, and standard check-out is 9:00 AM–12:00 PM. This schedule allows every suite to be thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and prepared for the next guest.

An early check-in (9:00 AM–12:00 PM) or late check-out (4:00–8:00 PM) means your cat occupies the suite during a time when it would normally be available for another reservation.

For example:

An early check-in prevents another guest from staying in that suite the previous night.

A late check-out prevents another guest from checking into that suite that evening.

Because the suite cannot be reserved for another overnight guest, there is a cost associated with holding it outside of our normal schedule.

Rather than requiring you to book an additional night's stay (our standard nightly rate is $36), we offer these extended-use options for just $18 each—half the cost of an additional night.

This policy gives families more flexibility while keeping our rates fair for everyone and ensuring every cat enjoys a clean, sanitized suite upon arrival.
